Protective Cable Covers Engineered to Specification

EDS manufactures a range of metal cable covers for electrical contractors and infrastructure projects. Our range includes hat section cable covers for standard installations, flat mount cable covers for surface-mounted applications, trench cable covers for underground services, and custom cable covers engineered to specific project requirements.

Each cover is fabricated from galvanised steel for long-term corrosion resistance, and formed on our CNC press brakes to maintain consistent dimensions across production runs. Standard hat section covers are available in common lengths and widths used across the electrical distribution network, while custom covers can be manufactured to non-standard dimensions, profiles, or fixing arrangements when a project calls for it.

Our protective guarding is designed for substations, switch rooms, and distribution infrastructure where physical protection of cabling, busbars, or equipment is required. We work from client drawings or can design guarding solutions based on site requirements, factoring in ventilation, access for maintenance, and compliance with relevant electrical standards.

Because we manufacture in-house at our Brendale workshop, we can turn around both standard orders and custom runs without relying on third-party suppliers. For large infrastructure projects requiring staged deliveries, we coordinate production scheduling to match your installation programme.
