Custom Engineering and Fabrication for Australian Industry

Steel, stainless steel, and aluminium solutions — from one-off prototypes to production runs.

Overview

EDS works with businesses across a broad range of industries to manufacture engineered steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components. From custom one-off parts to production runs of thousands, our workshop and engineering team are set up to handle the variety and complexity that general engineering demands.

Our clients include equipment manufacturers, mining companies, construction contractors, infrastructure operators, and maintenance teams who need reliable fabrication backed by genuine engineering capability. We’re not just a job shop cutting metal to someone else’s drawing — although we do that well. We’re also capable of engineering input on material selection, design optimisation, and manufacturing methodology.

The practical advantage of working with EDS is having manufacturing and engineering under the same roof. Problems get solved on the spot rather than through a chain of emails between a designer, a project manager, and a fabricator. If something needs to change mid-production — a dimension revision, a material substitution, an additional operation — the decision is made by people who understand both the engineering implications and the manufacturing process.

We serve customers in every mainland Australian state from our Brendale workshop. For large projects, we coordinate deliveries to match installation programmes. For ongoing supply arrangements, we maintain production records and stock levels to ensure consistent product quality and reliable lead times on repeat orders.
