Shaft openings on active building sites present a genuine safety risk, and our products are designed to provide reliable protection while remaining practical for installation crews to work around during the various stages of a lift installation.

Our steel protection gates are fabricated to suit standard and non-standard shaft opening dimensions. They’re designed to be robust enough to withstand the knocks and impacts of a construction environment, while remaining straightforward to install and remove as the project progresses. Gate designs can incorporate self-closing mechanisms, signage panels, and locking hardware as required by site safety management plans.

The temporary entrance hoardings serve a dual purpose: shaft protection and presentation. In buildings where construction is staged and some floors are already occupied or open to the public, hoardings maintain a clean, professional appearance at shaft openings. We UV print full-colour graphics directly onto the aluminium — typically building branding, developer graphics, or lift installation company branding. This turns a safety requirement into a communication opportunity.

We coordinate with lift installation companies on delivery staging, producing and delivering protection equipment to align with the installation programme. For multi-stage high-rise projects, this means supplying gates and hoardings in batches as each group of floors is ready, rather than requiring storage of the entire order on site from day one.
