Machining — Managed End-to-End

Machining

Our machining capability handles the precision operations that can’t be achieved through cutting and forming alone. This includes drilling, tapping, reaming, countersinking, counterboring, milling, and turning operations on fabricated components and raw stock. Machining is what turns a fabricated part into a finished component with accurate hole positions, threaded fixings, and mating surfaces.

Our machinists work to the tolerances specified on the drawing and verify critical dimensions during production. Hole patterns on mounting plates, threaded bosses on brackets, bearing seats on shafts, and register faces on flanges — these are the features that determine whether a component assembles correctly and functions reliably. Where projects require CNC machining for high-volume repeatability or complex programmed toolpaths, we coordinate this through trusted local partners under our quality oversight.

We machine steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, and engineering plastics. For fabricated components that require machined features, we manage the full sequence — laser cutting, forming, welding, then machining — so that the component arrives as a finished unit. This integrated approach avoids the delays and potential for error that come from splitting a job across multiple suppliers.

Machining services are available for both new manufacture and repair work. Worn shafts, damaged bearing housings, and out-of-tolerance components can often be restored by machining rather than replaced entirely — a practical and cost-effective option when the alternative is a long lead time for a new casting or forging. We assess each repair job individually and advise whether machining is a sound solution.
