EDS operates a fully equipped metal fabrication workshop in Brendale, Queensland. Our capabilities cover the complete fabrication process: laser cutting, guillotining, press brake folding, tube bending, welding, and surface finishing coordination. For projects requiring CNC machining, we work with trusted local partners to ensure the same quality standards apply. Having these operations coordinated through a single point of contact means we control quality, lead time, and cost from raw material through to finished product.

The breadth of our capabilities allows us to handle fabrication projects that would otherwise need to be split across multiple suppliers. A complex component requiring laser-cut profiles, multiple formed bends, machined holes, welded assemblies, and a galvanised finish is produced in a single coordinated workflow. This eliminates the delays and quality risks that come with managing multiple supplier relationships independently.

Our fabrication services are used by clients across the electrical, lift, construction, mining, infrastructure, and general manufacturing sectors. Whether the job is a production run of 5,000 identical brackets or a single prototype of a new product design, our equipment and team are configured to handle both with the same attention to quality. CNC control on our laser and press brakes ensures dimensional consistency regardless of batch size, and where CNC machining is required, we manage this through our established partner network to maintain the same precision and traceability.

Material handling covers mild steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel (304 and 316 grades), aluminium, and specialty steels for specific applications. We source material from established Australian steel suppliers and maintain stock of commonly used sheet and plate sizes to minimise lead times on standard jobs. For projects requiring specific material grades or certifications, we procure to order and maintain full traceability documentation.
