Tube Bending

Accurate Tube Bending for Structural and Decorative Applications

Tube Bending

Our tube bending equipment produces accurate, repeatable bends in round, square, and rectangular tube and pipe. Tube bending is used for handrails, frames, roll cages, structural members, exhaust systems, hydraulic line runs, and any application where curved or formed tube is specified.

We bend mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium tube across a range of sizes. Bend radii are determined by the tube diameter and wall thickness — our engineering team can advise on the minimum bend radius achievable for a given tube specification without wrinkling, flattening, or cracking. For structural applications where the full cross-sectional strength of the tube must be maintained through the bend, we select tooling and parameters to minimise wall thinning and ovality.

CNC tube bending allows complex multi-bend components to be produced consistently. Each bend position, angle, and rotation is programmed, so a component with five or six bends in different planes can be reproduced accurately across a production run. This is important for assemblies where multiple bent tubes must fit together at specific angles — such as frame structures, roll-over protection systems, or architectural metalwork.

For simpler bends and one-off work, we also have manual bending equipment for quick turnaround on straightforward jobs. Whether it’s a single bent handrail or a batch of 500 identical frame components, our tube bending capability is set up to handle both extremes efficiently. Tube bending is available as a standalone service or as part of a complete fabrication project including cutting, welding, and finishing.
