The entrance system is the most visible component of any lift installation — and the one with the least margin for error. EDS manufactures car and landing entrance systems, architraves, sills, and associated hardware to the tight tolerances that lift installations demand. Our components are engineered to integrate cleanly with major lift system brands and to meet the dimensional requirements specified by lift consultants and building contractors.

We fabricate entrance systems in steel and stainless steel, with finishes ranging from standard primer for cladded installations through to brushed or polished stainless for exposed architectural applications. Each system is manufactured as a matched set, with sills, headers, and architraves dimensioned to work together and minimise on-site adjustment. This precision matters because entrance systems interact with both the building structure and the lift mechanism — any misalignment creates problems that compound through the installation.

For high-rise projects with dozens or hundreds of identical landings, our CNC-controlled manufacturing processes ensure dimensional consistency across the entire production run. For heritage or architectural projects requiring non-standard profiles, our engineering team works from architect drawings to develop entrance components that meet both aesthetic requirements and lift safety standards.

We also manufacture temporary aluminium entrance hoardings with full-colour UV printed graphics for use during construction. These hoardings protect shaft openings during the build phase while presenting a professional appearance in occupied buildings or public spaces.
